Indulge your inner foodie when you fly. We offer a specially-designed menu of exciting new flavors and well-known classics. We also serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages so there's something for everyone. And as always, coffee and tea are free on all flights, no matter where you’re traveling.

SAS Business

If you’re travelling in SAS Business, you’ll enjoy a glass of champagne and a 3-course meal with 4 choices of main course. You can also help yourself to our generous buffet of fine wines, non-alcoholic beverages, fruit and snacks during the flight. All included.

SAS Plus

  • Flights to Eilat, Beirut or within Europe include light meals and accompanying beverage. See menu
  • On intercontinental flights, you’ll enjoy a 3-course meal with 2 choices of a main course with all beverages included. See menu
  • You can order special meals for European flights longer than 80 minutes. Flights within the Nordic region do not offer the special meal service. Please see our special meals section below.

SAS Go 

  • If you’re travelling in SAS Go within Europe or to Eilat or Beirut, you can buy snacks, light meals and beverages from our inflight menu. On flights longer than 120 minutes, you can also pre-order a wide variety of meals on most flights up to 18 hours before departure. Please note that if you’re travelling within Scandinavia or Finland, you can only pre-order breakfast. 
     



  • On intercontinental routes, meals and one non-alcoholic beverage (served with the main meal) are included.* You can also buy snacks, meals and beverages from our inflight menu. * On flights to/from Tokyo, all beverages including alcoholic drinks (except sparkling wine) are included in the first meal serving.

 

Special meals

You can order special meals on flights to the US and Asia and if you’re travelling in SAS Plus on flights longer than 80 minutes within Europe or to Eilat or Beirut. Special meal service is not available on domestic flights or within the Nordic region. Special meals must be ordered at least 24 hours before departure by contacting SAS Sales & Service

Allergies & intolerances

Peanut allergy

  • We don’t serve peanuts as inflight snacks or as a meal ingredient. If you’re allergic to peanuts, always notify the cabin staff when you board the plane so they can inform other travelers of your allergy.  
     

Other allergies

  • Other types of allergens such as nuts, seeds and legumes are available as snacks or meal ingredients on SAS flights. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to restrict these.

Please note that all of our meals are prepared on premises where nuts and other allergens are present. For this reason, there is a risk that traces of nuts and other allergens may be present, even in cases where the allergen is not part of a recipe or listed as an ingredient.

Allergies to animal hair/fur

  • If you’re allergic to animal hair/fur, please contact SAS Sales & Service when you book so we can confirm that there are no animals in the cabin on your flight.

Please remember to always have any medication you need in your carry-on.

Shopping

Take a bit of Scandinavia home – or somewhere else. On longer flights, shop in our STORE for lovely fragrances, Scandinavian design and fun gifts at great prices. 

  • You can shop on European flights to/from Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen that are longer than 1h 45 min and on flights to/from Stockholm and Oslo that are longer than 1h 45 min. Unfortunately, we don’t offer shopping on flights within Scandinavia or Finland.  
  • You can pay by credit card (not VISA Electron or Mastercard Maestro) and cash in the following currencies: SEK, DKK, NOK, EUR, GBP and USD. You can also pay using EuroBonus points

WiFi

We offer WiFi on board short-haul and intercontinental flights. For intercontinental flights we also offer access to our 3G mobile network so that you can stay connected throughout your flight.

 

WiFi on board short-haul flights

Our new, high-speed WiFi is available on most flights across Europe. Look for the sign on the door when boarding to see if your flight is one of the planes that already has WiFi installed.

WiFi is free for EuroBonus Gold and Diamond members and for travelers in SAS Plus. Travelers in SAS Go have the option to connect to our WiFi for a small fee of 39 DKK / 49 NOK / 49 SEK / 6 EUR / 5 GBP / 7 USD (or 1 000 EuroBonus points). Read more about WiFi for short-haul flights here

 

WiFi on board long-haul flights

We offer WiFi and a 3G mobile network on board our intercontinental fleet. Choose which service you want according to your needs.

WiFi is free for EuroBonus Gold and Diamond members and for travelers in SAS Plus and SAS Business. Travelers in SAS Go can connect for a fee of 19 USD / 149 NOK / 149 SEK / 119 DKK / 15 EUR (or 3 000 EuroBonus points) to browse the internet during the whole flight.

Our 3G mobile network is enabled on most of our intercontinental flights. This service lets you use your smartphone as if you were at home from 20 000 feet. Wait for the announcement onboard of when you can use the service, then simply turn off flight mode to make calls, browse the internet and text. Just check that your provider is partnered with AeroMobile.

The cost for mobile services (text messaging, phone calls and GPRS) is based on the roaming charges of your service provider. All data roaming is international, even on domestic flights and the costs are added to your regular phone bill. When you turn off flight mode, your service provider will send you a text with your pricing scheme for this service.


 

Entertainment

Enjoy movies, music and games on your personal video screen on flights to Asia and to the US. We offer a large variety of popular movies and series, which can all be viewed for free. Just use the touch screen and sit back and relax. We’ll provide you with headphones or you can use your own as all seats are equipped with one-pin outlets.

Each seat comes with an extra USB outlet, so you can use your own devices without having to worry about charging them.
